Cage Systems

Poultry cage systems are a poultry farming method in which chickens are raised in specially designed cages. In this system, chickens are placed in cages in a certain area and fed automatically. This method helps to increase production efficiency while optimizing the use of space.

Chick Cage

The future productivity of a poultry farm depends entirely on how healthy and homogeneous the growth of those tiny, newly hatched creatures is during their first 16-17 weeks. Traditionally, raising chicks on the ground, on bedding (sawdust), presents a number of difficult problems to solve. The modern chick rearing cage (pullet cage) is a comprehensive system of intelligent engineering solutions developed to address each of these problems. Consequently, a chick rearing cage is not just a shelter; it is a technological system that brings together a series of intelligent responses, developed with scientific data, to the fundamental problems inherent in broiler farming.

Ensuring Homogeneous Flock Development: One of the system's greatest advantages is that it ensures each chick has equal access to food, water, and the ideal temperature. This prevents the formation of underweight or overdeveloped animals within the flock, guaranteeing that all animals remain within the targeted weight and growth curve. A homogeneous flock enters the egg-laying period simultaneously and in greater strength.

Chick Cage

The chick rearing cage is a modern solution to the fundamental problems of traditional floor-type rearing. This system minimizes costs by completely isolating chicks from feces, reducing the risk of disease; by providing equal feed and water to each chick, preventing developmental problems and competition; by delivering heat directly to their living spaces, eliminating energy waste and the need for bedding. Ultimately, it lays the foundation for the overall productivity of the farm by ensuring healthier, less-lost, and, most importantly, homogeneous (even) growth of future laying hens.

Chick Base Plastic

The first 16-17 weeks of a chick's life are crucial for laying the foundation of its skeletal structure, immune system, and future egg-laying potential. Even the slightest stress, illness, or nutritional deficiency during this period can lead to irreparable losses in production. Chick rearing cages minimize mortality; unlike uncontrolled floor environments, cage systems protect chicks from contact with feces, the risk of crushing, and pathogens, dramatically reducing mortality in the first few weeks.
